twenty eight (28) years of experience investigating

systems, verifying and resolving beneficiary
complaints. He has extensive knowledge of Medicare

Coding Structure. He has the skill to detect and
deter fraud by conducting on-site and desk audits of
provider’s (doctors, podiatrist, etc.) medical

Ms. Vicky Avery is an
alumnus of University of Detroit Mercy, possessing a
Bachelor of Science (1997) in Criminal Justice,
Completion of graduate courses in Security
Administration (1998) and graduate courses in Public
Administration at Central Michigan University
(2000-2001).
Her job description
includes, but not inclusive: assisting victims in
obtaining their PPO’s (Personal Protection Order),
interacting with the legal system in behalf of the
victims and working in conjunction with social
workers and other agencies. Helping those
individuals mandated by the courts to fulfill their
probation orders. She provides presentations on
domestic violence in various communities and assist
in providing training for Detroit Police
Department. She is an active member of the Women of
Color Network (WOC), Michigan Coalition of Domestic
Violence and Sexual Abuse (MCADVSA), and other
coalitions.
